One more for June

Hi there,

Just popping in to share one more challenge entry for this month.
I must admit that I now have two extra backgrounds in my stash to use, as I kept changing my mind about this one!!! But the good thing is next time I want to use pink on my background I won't have to wait for it to dry lol
This one is over at Scrappingclearly and was another mood board challenge (loving these colours together):

And here is my attempt:

This photo is a selfie we took at the 1D concert we went to last year! It was Lilys' first ever concert and she loved it (and secretly so did I).

Thanks for dropping by xx

Jot

So I'm guessing that most of you by now would of heard of the Jot Magazine? If not you should follow the link and have a look! It's fabulous!
Not only is it a great online magazine, they also have regular mood board challenges and tutorials on their blog. Their are some really talented ladies on the Jot Team and I'm sure you will find something over there new to try.
This month I decided to try their mood board. Its a really nice one, kinda peaceful looking?? Unlike my son who I scrapped about lol (always with the funny faces)

And here is my layout:

And a couple of close ups:

Thanks for looking and have a great Thursday!!

Finding the love again

So it seems that after attending an art journalling class at Scrapbooking From Scratch with the super talented and inspiring Lisa Oxley, I have found my love for scrapbooking again. Don't get me wrong I'm still trying to fit it into the everyday, but I am consciously making an effort to do something, no matter how little, crafty each day!!!

So this month I have been playing and experimenting in my art journal, no photos of that, and also have completed a few challenges. I'm hoping that I can get a few more done before months end :)

First up is the Kraft+ Challenge. You had to use Kraft+ Jigsaw puzzle pieces. And here is my entry:

So I chose to cut my photo into a jig saw piece and also my title is inspired by the challenge.
I'm trying to use my handwriting more. I'm not a big lover of my writing, but I'm trying to make myself use it!!!

Next up was a challenge at Off The Rails Scrapbooking. It was a Monochromatic Mood Board Challenge:

I went with the black and white.

And a few close ups:

Thanks for stopping by and hopefully I'll have more to share with you soon xxx
